We're tracking some breaking news right now in Huntsville involving a shooting on Old Gurley road and Ryland pike. We have a crew on the scene and will bring you details live.

The other big topic this Monday morning is the weather! Meteorologist David Ernst is monitoring temperatures across the valley, especially dangerous wind chill factors that is prompting many places to open their doors as warming centers.

    Authorities are searching for a Decatur work release inmate who walked away from his job site in Tuscumbia according to our news partner, the Times Daily. The Alabama Department of Corrections said Tobby Randall Blackstock, 40, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with strawberry blond hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both arms and was wearing black shoes, dark blue jeans and a blue T-shirt. According to DOC, he walked away from his assigned job location at 5:35 p.m. Friday....More >>
