FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Scattered showers possible as cold front moves in

(WAFF) -

Scattered showers will be possible throughout Friday but it won’t be a washout by any means and most of what falls will be on the light side. Highs will be in the middle 50s as a cold front tonight sends chillier air in for the weekend.

Mostly cloudy skies will remain with afternoon highs only in the 40s both Saturday and Sunday. We’re also back below freezing Saturday night. As a disturbance passes to our south that night, a few flurries are possible early Sunday morning but shouldn't cause any accumulation or travel problems.

Another shot of cold air moves in Sunday night, causing lows to crash into the upper teens and highs on Monday will only be in the 30s. We’ll see a slow rebound back to the 40s for the rest of the week with a few mid week showers.
