Most of us still have to get up for work after Powerball numbers - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

Most of us still have to get up for work after Powerball numbers announced!

(WAFF) -

Good morning! Trent Butler here because I didn't win the $1.586 billion dollar Powerball jackpot! The winning numbers are 4, 8, 19, 27, 34, and the Powerball is 10. While I won't be retiring anytime soon, someone in Tennessee, Florida and California can choose if they ever want to work again! Winning tickets were bought in those states. This morning, we'll share the latest on the largest Powerball jackpot in history.

We're also following major news from the Tennessee Valley. A federal judge has granted an acquittal for Madison police officer Eric Parker.  Eric Parker faced a federal civil rights violation for slamming an unarmed man to the ground partially paralyzing him. Parker's case went to trial two times last year.  Yet, both cases ended in mistrials after juries were unable to come up with a unanimous verdict.

Here's a talker! Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz has bagged the endorsement of "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson after going hunting with him.

Plus, David is telling us about a warmer start to your morning and some rain in the forecast on Friday. We hope you'll kick start your day with us on WAFF 48 News Today!
