AT 10: Huntsville schools' proof of residency policy

Good Monday evening, Tennessee Valley!

Do you have your lottery ticket? After no one had the winning ticket Saturday, thousands of people (including yours truly) have been rushing to get a ticket for this week's drawing. The winner will take home the $1.4 billion jackpot. And that is the largest jackpot in ever in the world! I don't know about you, but I could find all kinds of ways to spend a billion dollars!

Here's a look at some other things we're working on for WAFF 48 News at 10:

Proof of Residency: Parents now have two weeks to prove their child is going to the right school - and there could be consequences if you don't act. WAFF's Franklin White is looking into the new guidelines at Huntsville City Schools and how they could affect you and your child.

Valley's Wanted: It's Monday, and that means a new Featured Five are waiting in the wings - waiting, that is, to be brought to justice. One of this week's wanted persons is a sex offender who's failed to register with law enforcement. Check the lineup here and look for more details on all five at 10.

Championship Game: Apparently there's a football game going on! Of course there is - it's Bama vs. Clemson, and fans are on pins and needles as the game goes on - Scott Theisen and Carl Prather are in Arizona as we speak watching the game - we'll have an update during the newscast.

Join me for the latest headlines and Lauren Jones with that all-important 7-Day Forecast.

We'll see you at 10!
