AT 10: The marriage ban battle continues

Hey there. I'm Mark Thornhill, writing you with just a few of the things we're putting together for WAFF 48 News at 10.

Some couples looking to get married had the rug pulled out from under them today with an executive order from Montgomery. Judge Roy Moore has again put a halt, at least in some North Alabama counties, in the issuance of same-sex marriage licenses. We're hearing from one same-sex couple hoping to be married this month. Lauren Bale joins us for that story.
It's Crime Stoppers Wednesday. A woman went to walk her dog and wound up losing lots of money when she d ropped her credit card, only to have it scooped up and used by a passer-by. Your tip could help bring him to justice - and put money in your pockets.
Speaking of money, a lot of people have visions of  "green" dancing in their heads. The $500 million Powerball Lottery drawing is set for tonight. We'll have those magic numbers.
Good luck. Stay warm. And please join Kim, Brad, Scott and myself tonight at 10.
