FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Chilly start to your work week

(WAFF) -

You can expect a chilly Monday morning with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are generally in the low-to-mid 30s, but a north wind at 10-15 mph is making it feel like the 20s.

Due to the cloud cover, we’ll be slow to warm throughout the morning hours but temperatures should make it to around 40° for a high Monday afternoon as skies begin to clear. The north wind continues through the day, so wind chills are likely to stay closer to 30. Skies should be mainly clear Monday evening and that means temperatures will drop quickly after sunset. We’ll be into the upper 20s around 9:00 with lows dipping into the low-to-mid 20s.

Skies will be mostly sunny on Tuesday with highs into the upper 40s. You can expect another cold night with lows in the mid-20s. Clouds should be increasing on Wednesday, but we’ll stay dry. Highs will be near 50° with lows staying above freezing that night.
