(WAFF) - Chilly start to Monday
You can expect a chilly Monday morning with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures are generally in the low-to-mid 30s, but a north wind at 10-15 mph is making it feel like the 20s. Due to the cloud cover, we'll be slow to warm throughout the morning hours but temperatures should make it to around 40° for a high Monday afternoon as skies begin to clear.

Major gun control announcement expected Monday
President Barack Obama is set to finalize a set of new executive actions tightening the nation's gun laws aimed at curbing gun violence and cracking down on unregulated gun sales. At the top of the list is an effort to expand background checks on gun sales by forcing more sellers to register as federally licensed gun dealers. The changes would be aimed at some unregistered sellers who skirt the background check laws by selling at gun shows, online or informal settings.
