1 in custody after car wreck

One person is in custody and two people were transported to the hospital after an early morning car wreck in Decatur. Police say the driver of one of the vehicles ignored a traffic signal and slammed into another car. The two passengers in that car were removed with the jaws of life and taken to two area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Police arrested the driver of the other car and say they believe alcohol was a factor in this wreck.

Cloudy New Year's Eve

Skies will be mostly cloudy today, but we’ll stay dry as rain showers will be ongoing to our southeast. Cooler weather is headed into the Valley and for the most part, we’re starting the day a few degrees lower than we did Wednesday. Many of you will start off in the low-to-mid 40s this morning.
