Cooler temperatures and a break in the rain

Tuesday will be noticeably cooler for most of the Tennessee Valley, with most of you starting out in the mid-to-upper 40s. You'll see a break in the rain Tuesday but showers will be returning by the evening hour. Temperatures will be topping out in the upper 50s, which is still 5 degrees above average for this time of year.


SB lane of 431 reopened after landslide

The Gadsden/Etowah EMA reports that one southbound lane of Highway 431 is now open near Rockledge following a landslide on Monday. If you plan on traveling in that area, please continue to use caution.


"Affluenza" teen arrested in Mexico

Ethan Couch, the Texas teen who killed 4 people during a drunk driving accident, has been found in Mexico. Couch, who is on probation, and his mother were reported missing earlier this month. After an extensive search, the pair was found near the resort town of Puerto Vallarta and will soon be turned over into the custody of U.S. Marshals.
