ROGERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

There is a castle in Rogersville, which has just a little touch of magic around every corner. Outside, plenty of decorations and fun inside lets you know you have arrived at Santa Land.

Creator Shane Dabbs said he was a little disappointed with some of the mall and shopping center displays, because they just didn't have that sense of wonder.

"I wanted to kind of recreate that, my childhood, with my grandparents or with my parents when they took me and you just can't find it. I'm just like, I can do it. I'll fix it." said Dabbs.

Children will be able to experience all sorts of wonders at Santa Land,

"When they come here they're obviously going to get to see Santa and Mrs.Claus is here.  And they can go into Ms. Claus's kitchen and decorate a cookie and mom and dad can help them as well."

Dabbs said even Santa's reindeer are getting ready for the big night,

"You never know, Pooh and Tigger may be here, Frosty may be here, the Grinch is always lurking around." Dabbs added.

But to get a real sense of this place, you have got to talk to the big guy Santa Claus himself.

"It's pretty hectic right now. We're trying to get all the toys together, and the children come to me and tell me what they want and as soon as they tell me, it goes to my elves. And they are in the workshop working day and night to get this stuff ready." said Dabbs.

Dabbs has a special message for the kids at home.

"They need to be good. Mind your mom and dad, go to bed early." Dabbs said,
