FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Cooler start to Tuesday morning, highs warming into 60s by afternoon

(WAFF) -

Tuesday is starting out on a cooler note compared to recent mornings, with temperatures 10-20° cooler in many spots compared to Monday morning. Most of you will start the day in the lower 40s, but a few spots could be as cool as mid-to-upper 30s but should warm up quickly with lower 60s by lunchtime.

Highs this afternoon will top out in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies. We should stay clear tonight and that will allow for a quick cool-down after sunset but temperatures should bottom out in the low-to-mid 40s to start Wednesday.

Wednesday will begin with mostly sunny skies, but clouds will increase through the day with highs making it into the upper 60s once again. By the afternoon, isolated showers could develop with a higher chance for rain coming in during the evening hours. Rain showers will continue overnight, but should wrap up for Thursday morning.
