(WAFF) - You'll see increasing cloud cover this Wednesday morning with temperatures running a bit warmer than Tuesday morning. Lower and middle 40s will be common in the Huntsville Metro area and west towards the Shoals. The northeastern portions of the state will be cooler, some hovering in the lower 30s. Patchy fog is possible near rivers and lakes, primarily in Jackson and DeKalb Counties.
Skies will be mostly cloudy through the day and it won't warm as fast as it has earlier in the week. Highs should make it back to near 60. A stray shower can't be ruled out, but many will stay dry today. Skies stay partly cloudy through the night and lows should bottom out in the mid-to-upper 40s.
