FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Foggy start for many across the Valley, temperatures topping out in the mid-60s

(WAFF) -

Tuesday morning will start out about 5-10° cooler than Monday. Skies will be mainly clear, but patchy fog could develop especially closer to rivers or lakes.  For those who don’t see any fog, you may have some frost to scrape before you get going as temperatures are in the lower and mid-30s. Any fog should lift by around 9 a.m. and we’ll warm up quickly for the late morning hours.

Afternoon temperatures will be around 60° with highs in the low-to-mid 60s. Clouds will begin to roll into the Valley by the evening and it won’t be as chilly tomorrow morning.

Lows should be in the low-to-mid 40s to start your Wednesday. You'll see more cloud cover for Wednesday afternoon, and highs will be a couple degrees cooler compared to Tuesday but will still be about 5° above average. A few sprinkles are possible, but we shouldn’t see any heavy, steady rain.

The clouds diminish into Thursday and it will be warmer with highs pushing into the mid-60s by Thursday afternoon with readings closer to 70° on Friday.  Southerly winds will keep temperatures in the 50s overnight.
