FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Slightly cooler morning with temperatures reaching mid-50s by afternoon

(WAFF) -

Temperatures are generally a couple degrees cooler than they were Thursday morning, ranging from the upper 20s into the mid-30s. Frost should be fairly widespread, so plan on doing some scraping if you parked outside last night.

We should warm up quickly this morning under sunny skies. Temperatures will be in the lower 50s by lunchtime with highs into the mid-50s. Look for a quiet evening with a quick drop in temperatures as the sun sets, cooling down to around 40° by 8 p.m. Lows should fall into the low-to-mid 30s for Saturday morning.

We’ll see plenty of sun once again on Saturday with slightly warmer temperatures for the afternoon with highs approaching 60. It won’t be as cold Saturday night, although lows should still fall into the 30s.

Skies will be mostly sunny Sunday, but clouds should increase late. Highs will be near 60° and lows that night should stay in the 40s.
