Contractor working without license faces charges

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Huntsville contractor we found to be working without a business license is now facing charges.

Back in September, we dug into Johnny Ray Jordan's work history and found he wasn't licensed or insured to do any of the electrical, plumbing or roofing work he did, that left a South Huntsville family's home in shambles.

The family says they paid up front, but the work was never finished.

Since our story aired, Huntsville police began investigating Jordan and has now charged him with home repair fraud.

This is now on top of the city fining him for doing repair and renovation work without a license on a separate job back in September, under the company name All Aspects Home Repair.
