(WAFF) - Skies will stay cloudy Tuesday as a cold front moves through the Valley. You can expect scattered rain showers throughout the day as a flood watch remains in effect for northeastern portions of the state until Wednesday morning.
This morning will start off on a mild note with temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s, holding steady through the afternoon. Widespread rain should taper off and skies will stay mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the upper 40s. The chance for an isolated shower is still possible through Wednesday morning.
Any rain moves east of the Valley and skies should be clearing for Wednesday afternoon. It will be a cooler day with highs staying in the mid-50s. It will be a chilly night as lows drop into the mid-30s under mainly clear skies.
