Two juveniles in custody after chase

Two juveniles are in custody after leading police on a chase with a stolen car. Alabama A&M attempted to stop the car Tuesday night, but the car sped off, leading A&M police and Huntsville police on a chase before crashing. Alabama A&M officials say that two juveniles were taken into custody and booked. They also say they do not have an affiliation with university.


Man dies after being shot on Birmingham roadway

Birmingham police are launching an investigation into the murder of a man they discovered roadside Tuesday night. Investigators say they received a call just after 11:00 Tuesday night regarding an African-American man in his 20s laying on the road suffering from two gunshot wounds. The victim later died at UAB hospital. 


Protesters march through Chicago streets

Protesters marched in Chicago streets after the release of dash-cam video of the police shooting death of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald. Several hundred people gathered at one point Tuesday evening and blocked traffic, two protesters were arrested, and some people circled police cars in an intersection and chanted "16 shots." McDonald's family urged protesters to remain peaceful following the release of the video.


Slightly warmer morning, comfortable afternoon

This Wednesday morning will start out about 10° warmer than Tuesday, which means everybody is above freezing!  Many of you stayed in the 40s overnight. You'll see a mix of sun and clouds through the day, similar to yesterday. The trend of progressively warmer weather will continues as highs this afternoon will top out in the mid-60s.
