(WAFF) - Temperatures are chilly this Tuesday morning with readings generally in the upper 20s and lower 30s. While those numbers are about 10° below average, they are still 5° warmer than yesterday morning. You'll see plenty of sunshine this morning, although more cloud cover will roll in this afternoon compared to yesterday.
It should still warm quickly and temperatures will be into the mid-to-upper 50s by lunchtime with a high near 60 degrees. Winds should be out of the southeast around 5 mph. Look for some passing clouds tonight with lows in the upper 30s.
Wednesday is sure to be a big travel day across the country and there shouldn't be many big national weather problems that slow you down. Many of the country's busier airports as well as the Southeast should see relatively quiet weather.
As we get into Thanksgiving Day, a storm system moves into the Plains, causing heavier rain for places like Dallas, Kansas City, and farther northeast towards Chicago. Locally, you can expect breezy conditions Wednesday and Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs into the 60s.
By Friday, clouds will increase, and there will be a slight chance for showers late in the day. No worries of any rain for those heading out early in search of Black Friday deals.
