FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Chilly start to Monday with highs warming into the low-to-mid 50s

(WAFF) -

You'll start this Monday morning off on a chilly note! Temperatures are the coldest they’ve been this fall with most of us in the low-to-mid 20s. You can expect a widespread frost in the morning hours so you may need a few minutes extra to scrape off your windshield if you’re parked outside.

Skies will be sunny throughout morning and temperatures will warm up quickly, nearing 50° at lunchtime with highs into the low-to-mid 50s. Winds should be light and out of the west.

With clear skies this evening, we’ll cool off quickly, falling near 30° Tuesday morning. We should see a few more clouds for the afternoon, but it will still be warmer with highs into the upper 50s.

Lows stay above freezing for Wednesday morning, with many of you in the upper 30s. Wednesday highs should top out in the lower 60s with plenty of afternoon sun.

Thanksgiving should be a pleasant, although windy day. Highs will be in the mid-60s with a mix of sun and clouds. Lows will hover in the lower 50s for anyone heading out early for Black Friday deals.
