(WAFF) - This Friday morning will start out with a fairly wide range of temperatures. Some of you will have temperatures as cool as the mid-30s while others are still in the upper 40s. There could be some fog for the morning drive, especially near rivers and lakes, but fog won't be nearly as widespread as yesterday.
Skies should be sunny throughout the day and temperatures should warm quickly with highs topping out in the lower 60s.
A strong cold front heads into the Tennessee Valley on Saturday. You should see a fair amount of sun through Saturday morning but clouds increase for into the afternoon. Saturday highs should hover in the low-to-mid 60s and a few afternoon rain showers are possible as the front passes.
The remainder of your weekend brings jacket weather. As the wind shifts around to the north behind the front, temperatures will drop rapidly, with some of you in the 30s by 9 p.m. Lows should drop into the mid 20s to begin Sunday.
