Dense fog advisory in effect

A dense fog advisory is in effect for the Tennessee Valley until 9 a.m. Thursday. Visibility could be reduced to a quarter-mile or less, especially in areas near rivers and lakes. Be sure to give yourself a few extra minutes on your morning commute.

NYC leaders respond after ISIS threats

New York City officials say that there is "nothing new" about an ISIS propaganda video released by the terror group that depicts an attack on the city. NYPD Commissioner William Bratton says that they are aware of the video but says that New York City remains one of the top terrorist targets in the world. Bratton says, “They seek to create fear. They seek to intimidate. We will not be intimidated, and we will not live in fear.”

New raids underway in Belgium

Belgian authorities launched six new raids Thursday morning, all in connection with last week's tragic terrorist attacks in Paris. The targeted area of the raid was a suburb of Brussels with known connections to terror groups. Belgian officials say that no arrests were made in the raids.
