Heavy rains, gusty winds moving into Valley

A line of potentially heavy rain and strong, gusty winds is moving into the Tennessee Valley Wednesday morning. You can expect gusty winds around 40-45 mph and localized flooding threats from the heaviest band of rain. Any threat for severe weather should stay south of Birmingham.


3 dead, 7 arrested in Paris raids

Raids in connection to Friday's deadly terrorist attacks in Paris continued this morning, ending with 3 people dead and 7 arrested. Police report that a during the raids, a woman detonated an explosive vest. No word yet on if those in police custody have connections to the attacks that left 129 dead and more than 300 injured. 


Missing TN boy found

A young boy reported missing from Winchester, Tennessee, last night has been found safe this morning. 7-year-old Philip Whitten was taken by his father, Philip Roberts, who does not have custody, Tuesday afternoon. Roberts is now in police custody. No word on where the two were located.
