Crews respond to early morning house fire

Seven units with the Huntsville Fire Department were called to battle an early morning blaze on Crestmore Avenue in Huntsville. Officials say that one person was in the home at the time of the fire but made it out safely and was treated for injuries at the scene. Investigators are still looking into the exact cause of this fire.


Freeze warning issued for Saturday morning

The National Weather Service is issuing a freeze warning for most of the Tennessee Valley for Saturday from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. Your Friday morning will begin with temperatures about 20 degrees cooler than Thursday, ranging from the mid-30s to low 40s for most of the Valley. Temperatures will warm quickly with clear skies for the remainder of the day.


'Unclear' is U.S. airstrikes kill 'Jihadi John'

Officials say U.S. drone strikes have been targeting the ISIS militant known as 'Jihadi John'. One specific strike focused on a car believed to be transporting the man but it's not yet known if that strike killed him. 'Jihadi John', whose real name is Mohammed Emwazi, is a British man believed to be in his mid-20s who is seen several ISIS-released videos of beheadings.
