Alabama's youth have chance to hunt deer ahead of full season

(WAFF) - Do you have a child that enjoys hunting?

Alabama's Youth Deer Season is Nov. 13-16, 2015.

Youth must be under the age of 16 to participate, and may hunt on privately owned land, leased land and open-permit public land.

Several Wildlife Management Areas will be hosting youth deer hunts as well.

While youths under age 16 do not need a license, they must possess a harvest record while hunting.

A harvest record is free and can be downloaded from the link below.

Alabama's gun deer season begins on Nov. 21.
