FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Cloudy, soggy start to work week

(WAFF) - Monday morning will start with cloudy skies and scattered light rain with temperatures ranging from the mid-40s into the lower 50s. Highs for Monday won't fluctuate much. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5-10 mph making it feel cooler.

The steadier rain should wrap up this afternoon, but skies will stay cloudy through the night. Temperatures won't fall much overnight and we should start Tuesday with mid-40s to near 50.

Clouds will diminish through the morning Tuesday with skies becoming mostly sunny for the afternoon. It will be a warmer day with highs pushing into the upper 60s.

Skies will stay clear through Tuesday night and lows should fall into the mid-to-upper 40s.

You'll see plenty of sunshine through Wednesday afternoon, which is perfect for the Veterans Day parade. It will be great parade weather with highs topping out in the mid-70s.

A strong storm system will develop to our west and approach the Valley late Wednesday. An isolated storm is possible Wednesday evening with higher chances arriving overnight.  Although the line of storms heading into the Valley should be weakening, strong-to-severe storms look possible into Thursday morning. Gusty winds and a brief, spin-up tornado would be the primary threats.
