FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Foggy start to Wednesday with warm temperatures expected

(WAFF) -

This Wednesday morning will start with cloudy skies and a few foggy spots, which could be locally dense in some areas. Temperatures are mild once again, with readings in the mid-60s which is 15-20° warmer than average for this time of year.

Despite the clouds, it will be a warm afternoon for November as highs will stretch into the low-to-mid 70s. Upper 70s to near 80° possible where some afternoon sunshine peeks through the clouds.

Thursday's weather will be similar to Wednesday's, although it will likely be a couple degrees warmer for a high.

A strong cold front approaches on Friday, bringing with it a line of storms. It is expected to weaken as it approaches, but the boundary it creates will act as a trigger for scattered showers and storms Friday afternoon.
