DMV offices to reopen

A slew of DMV offices were closed last month due to budgetary issues in Montgomery. But today, several of those shuttered offices will open their doors once again. The offices will now operate once a month, providing their services to their many rural areas. Two offices in north Alabama will reopen: Franklin County and Lawrence County.

Verdict watch in Parker trial

The verdict watch in Eric Parker's federal retrial continues Tuesday, as the jury has been deliberating since Friday afternoon. Monday, deliberations began with the jury re-watching the dashcam video of the altercation between Parker and Sureshbhai Patel. The jury had no additional questions or requests for the judge.

Foggy start to Tuesday

In some spots this morning, fog could be dense and locally heavy, especially in portions of southern Tennessee. Keep this in mind as you make your commute this morning and allot yourself a few extra minutes for travel time.
