INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The University of North Alabama moved up one spot to second in the latest NCAA Division II Football Super Region 2 Poll. The regional rankings are the official ratings of the Division II Football Committee and the top seven teams in each of the four final regional polls on November 14 will advance to the Division II Playoffs.  

North Alabama, 6-2 overall and 6-1 in the region, is coming off a blowout 43-17 win over Delta State. The Lions already have wins over three other teams in the regional ranking, Valdosta State, Florida Tech and UNC-Pembroke.

The Lions non-conference schedule this season has also proven to be strong as Miles is 5-4 and on a four-game winning streak, Western Oregon is 6-3 and has won five straight and UNC-Pembroke is 5-3 and owns a win over third ranked Tuskegee.

UNA plays at Shorter Saturday with kickoff set for 12:30 p.m. Central
