HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

An arrest has been made for a Huntsville contractor accused of working without a business license.

Johnny Ray Jordan was picked up on a bench warrant for being a "no-show" in court back on Sept. 16.

Jordan was cited by the City of Huntsville for doing repair and renovation work without a business license.

The citations are connected to a job we investigated last month that left a Huntsville family's home in shambles.

We dug into Jordan's work history and found he wasn't licensed or insured to do any of the electrical, plumbing or roofing work the family claims he did at the home.

He never completed the job, and the family claims he left them nearly $50,000 in the hole.

The family initially found Jordan's business, All Aspects Home Repair, on Craigslist - listing services he was not licensed to do.

A judge will now determine Jordan's fine. However, he could face stiffer penalties once Alabama's licensure board completes its investigation.
