FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Remnants of Hurricane Patricia causing a wet start to your work week

(WAFF) -

The next few days will be rather unsettled as the remnants of what used to be Hurricane Patricia work through the southeastern portion of the U.S. Look for cloudy skies today with periodic rain showers. While it may not be raining all day long, several rounds of steady rain can be expected.

The clouds and rain will keep temperatures cooler, and we should stay in the 60s the entire day. The breezy conditions should last through this evening and into tonight. Skies will stay cloudy through the night with scattered rain showers ongoing with lows bottoming out near 60° to begin Tuesday.

Tuesday is very similar to today in that skies will stay cloudy and occasional rain showers can be expected. Temperatures will be cool once again, and highs should be limited to the mid-60s. The rain becomes more isolated in nature heading into Tuesday night and lingering showers are possible for Wednesday morning.

Skies will stay mostly cloudy into Wednesday afternoon, but there won’t be much rain by then. Highs should make it back to the lower 70s as lows that night drop into the low 50s.

Clouds will decrease Thursday with highs into the 70s once again. Thursday night should be the coolest of the week with lows dipping into the mid-to-upper 40s.
