College campus shooting, burn ban & nerd con, busy morning

We're starting out this Friday pretty busy in the newsroom. We're staying on top of breaking news overnight with a shooting on the campus of Tennessee State University. We know one person is dead and two others are wounded. We'll break this all down at the top of WAFF 48 News Today at 5:00 & 6:00 a.m.

We've also pinned down more details behind a stabbing in Huntsville late last night at an apartment complex.

How many times have you yelled at or given the finger to another driver? It's something we've all thought about since the shooting death of a 4-year old in New Mexico in that road rage incident. You'll hear from her family this morning.

There's now a burn ban in place if you live anywhere near Bankhead National Forest. We'll have details on the massive wildfire fight.

    Army Reserves member, Cayln McLemore has been missing since Wednesday, June 20. According to a Jacksonville news station McLemore was participating in a 25-day leadership training course at Camp Blanding and was sent out Wednesday morning with dozens of classmates for a land navigation assignment. The exercise, which involves individual soldiers finding rally points in the woods before returning to a designated location, should only have taken a couple of hours, ...
