FIRST ALERT: MSFC to hold emergency preparedness drill; Morning temps starting out in mid-40s to low 50s

(WAFF) - MSFC emergency preparedness drill

The Marshall Space Flight Center will be holding an emergency preparedness drill at their facility on Thursday. The drill is simulating an active shooter situation and will include first responders, Arsenal and MSFC officials. While they haven't said exactly what time the drill will take place, they say if you hear or see anything near the MSFC, do not be alarmed.

1 dead, 3 seriously wounded in Denmark school attack

Officials confirm that 1 teacher is dead and three others are seriously wounded in what appears to be an attack on a school in Copenhagen, Denmark. Among the injured are two students and a masked man. No word yet on what prompted the attack.

Temperatures quickly warming Thursday

Your morning temperatures will start out in the mid-40s with some areas starting out in the 50s. Thursday's weather will be similar to Wednesday's, with clear skies and plenty of sunshine in the forecast. By the afternoon, temperatures should be in mid-70s nearing the 80s.
