(WAFF) -

Foggy commute for Tuesday

Pockets of locally dense fog could affect your commute this morning. While the fog isn't widespread, you should allot yourself a few extra minutes as you drive this morning. The fog should lift by 9 a.m., followed up with sunny skies.

Boaz residents head to the polls

Boaz residents are taking to the polls today, voting on a Sunday alcohol sales ordinance. If voters choose to pass the ordinance, it would be legal to purchase alcohol on Sundays in the Marshall County town. Two other cities in Marshall County recently passed the Sunday alcohol ordinance: Guntersville and Albertville. Boaz is the last incorporated town in Marshall County that has yet to pass Sunday alcohol sales.

Democrats face-off in first debate

Democratic front-runners Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are taking the stage this evening in the first debate for the Democratic presidential candidates. Clinton and Sanders have been neck-and-neck in the polls and this will be the first face-off between the two. Martin O'Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee, who are also seeking the presidential nomination, will participate in the debate.
