LOOK AHEAD: Unsettled weather pattern continues into beginning of work week

(WAFF) -

The unsettled weather we experienced this weekend continues for the work week, as skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day, and scattered rain showers can be expected. Monday morning will be muggy and temperatures will hover in the mid-to-upper 60s. Due to the clouds, highs will be limited to the upper 70s to near 80.

The cloud cover continues this evening and the chance for rain will increase overnight. Lows should stay in the upper 60s for Tuesday morning.

Tuesday looks to be a rather rainy day with cloudy skies. Highs will once again stay near 80° with widespread rain and a few rumbles of thunder. The steady rain begins to taper off by the evening, but scattered showers can still be expected overnight and into Wednesday.

Lows will dip into the mid-60s at night.

Skies should stay mostly cloudy Wednesday with occasional rain showers. Highs will top out around 80 and any rain becomes more isolated in nature by the evening. It will be a cooler night, and lows should fall to near 60° for Thursday morning.

Skies will still be mostly cloudy Thursday, but only a hit-or-miss shower is expected. Highs will stay in the upper 70s.

As we finish the work week, we’ll begin to shake this wet weather pattern. Friday will still be partly cloudy, but clearing will take shape into the weekend.  Temperatures Friday will stay in the mid-70s with lows into the mid-50s that night.

Look for mostly sunny skies Saturday with highs in the mid 70s.  Sunday should be a pleasant day with similar conditions to Saturday.
