Volunteers hope to close out games this season

KNOXVILLE, TN (WAFF) - The Tennessee Volunteers are preparing for Florida on Saturday.

This rivalry has taken a back seat in the SEC over the last few seasons.

For Tennessee, finding ways to close out games has become a learning process.

The Vols led Oklahoma 17-3 two weeks ago and had a 9-0 lead last season against Florida heading into the fourth quarter.
"Part of your players having a killer instinct, can you develop it, and I thought both, and you have to be in those situations to develop it," said Head Coach Butch Jones Wednesday. "And once you are in those situations, what do you take from those situations, how do you learn from it and how do you move forward, and we need to move forward from it obviously."
Tennessee will face Florida on Saturday at 2:30 CT.
