LOOK AHEAD: Mostly clear skies with plenty of sunshine for your Wednesday

(WAFF) - Skies will be mostly clear this morning, although there could be a few foggy spots. Any fog should be gone by 9 and we'll continue through the rest of the morning with plenty of sunshine.  Temperatures will warm quickly through the 60s and 70s this morning and we should be near 80° by noon with highs into the mid 80, with a few spots may touch the upper 80s.

There will be a slight increase in cloud cover this afternoon compared to this morning. and a brief shower or two could develop, especially over northeastern areas, but most will remain rain free all day. Skies will stay mainly clear tonight, and lows should fall into the lower 60s Thursday.

Thursday afternoon should feature more clouds than today, but it's still going to be warm with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. Once again, a stray shower may develop for the afternoon, but we shouldn't see any widespread rain.

Our weather gets a bit more unsettled for Friday and the weekend with isolated showers should developing by Friday and will continue in hit-or-miss fashion through the day. You can expect a cooler afternoon with highs in the low-to-mid 80s. Mostly cloudy skies continue that night and additional isolated showers could develop on Saturday.

The disturbance responsible for this unsettled weather begins to pull away from the Valley Sunday. The rain chances will be lower Sunday and Monday as a result. Highs should be in the low 80s to begin the next work week, but should warm into the mid 80s by the middle of the week.
