(WAFF) - Consistent weather trend for this week
Skies cleared for many last night allowing for lows in the low-to-mid 50s Tuesday morning. Some patchy fog will hang around through the morning hours with the thickest fog closer to rivers and lakes as well as in our Valleys.
Skies should be mostly sunny for those not seeing any fog, with temperatures warming quickly through the afternoon, reaching the upper 70s to near 80° by lunchtime. Afternoon highs will be a degree or two warmer than Monday, topping out in the mid-80s. Highs will be closer to 80° over northeastern parts of Alabama with more cloud cover there and a slight chance for an afternoon shower. Skies stay mainly clear tonight, and lows should fall to near 60.
Our weather the next several days stays somewhat consistent. We'll see patchy fog with mostly sunny skies otherwise each morning, followed a few more clouds for the afternoon. Although a very isolated showers could develop each day, most of you will stay dry on any one day in particular.
