Pink Heals Tour visits Huntsville and Brindlee Mountain

BRINDLEE MOUNTAIN, AL (WAFF) - The pink fire trucks are back in the Valley!

The Pink Heals Tour stopped in Huntsville and Brindlee Mountain Tuesday in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer research.

Volunteers from all over the country drive pink fire trucks and police cars to bring awareness as they travel from state-to-state to meet with local leaders and meet with breast cancer patients.

Pink Heals trucks can be seen at many breast cancer awareness events, including our Liz Hurley Ribbon Race.

"It is a fantastic group of men and women from all over America that just do a great job supporting this program in helping to find a cure we all long to see," said Chris Crutchfield, Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus.

The Pink Heals recently announced its new program, 'Gunner's Kids', to raise money for children in need and inspire young people to achieve great things.
