LOOK AHEAD: Skies start out mostly clear, scattered storms moving into the Valley

(WAFF) -

Skies are mainly clear for your Tuesday morning and temperatures are generally in the mid-to-upper 60s, warming up quickly and reaching the low-to-mid 80s by noon. Highs will top out in the upper 80s with increasing afternoon cloud cover.

Scattered showers and storms will develop east of I-65 with that activity being more isolated west of the interstate. Skies should stay mostly cloudy tonight, and a stray shower is still possible with lows will dropping to around 70 for Wednesday morning.

Skies will be mostly cloudy Wednesday with a good chance of rain by the afternoon, with slightly cooler temperatures with widespread rain. Highs should stay in the mid-to-upper 80s.

As a cold front heads into the Valley Thursday, rain should be fairly widespread and highs will stay in the lower 80s. The front clears the area for Friday, but our weather stay unsettled.  Scattered showers remain possible, but we won’t see a repeat of Thursday’s widespread rain. Highs Friday stay close to 80° and lows that night will be into the low/mid 60s.
