LOOK AHEAD: Slight chance for isolated rain shower, highs topping out near 90

(WAFF) - Slight chance for pop-up rain shower

Labor Day will begin with a few foggy spots, but skies will be mostly sunny otherwise. With plenty of morning sunshine, temperatures should warm quickly into the mid-80s by lunchtime with highs around 90. Additional cloud cover will develop this afternoon and an isolated shower may pop up but any rain would end around sunset, and temperatures will cool slowly this evening.

Lows should bottom out in the upper 60s for Tuesday morning. Clouds will increase Tuesday, and more afternoon storms should develop compared to today.  Highs will likely be a couple degrees cooler in the upper 80s as a cold front approaches for the middle of the week.

Wednesday should still be a warm day ahead of the front with highs in the upper 80s and scattered storms. The front moves through Thursday, and that's when rain should be most widespread. Highs will stay in the low-to-mid 80s with lows dipping into the mid-to-upper 60s.

With the front close by, Friday should still be unsettled with a fair amount of cloud cover and scattered showers with highs topping out in the low-to-mid 80s.  Skies will be partly cloudy as lows dip into the mid-60s for Saturday morning. Clouds will clear out over the course of the day Saturday, but a lingering shower early is still possible. Highs will be near 80 with lows falling to around 60 that night. Expect pleasant weather to close out the weekend.
