(WAFF) - "Injuries:" A dreaded and avoidable word when discussing football.
As fall camp wrapped up across the country, many programs suffered from the injury bug, losing players that were crucial parts to a team's potential success.
That wasn't the case at Auburn. The Tigers didn't have to deal with any major injuries during camp, even with the physical nature of practices.
"I'm not going to say that we're banged up or beat up," said Gus Malzahn earlier this week. "Our kids have had a physical camp, and we've got to do a good job of getting everyone back. We've got a good plan, and I feel like we're good in that area."
Auburn will continue to prepare for Louisville this week, with kickoff set for Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Central Time.
