(WAFF) - Alabama is preparing for the Wisconsin Badgers Sunday in Arlington, Texas, a team that loves to run the football.
The Badgers ran for 268 yards against LSU last season. Gone is Melvin Gordon, but Cory Clement will pick up the slack for the Badgers, while Alabama's defenders will try and slow the ground attack.
For lineman Jarran Reed, Fall camp and game planning aren't over till kickoff.
"It feels kind of great, but we're still focused, we got a long way to go, still got a lot of work to do, so we're still focused, whether we in camp or out of camp," said Reed. "You know it helps a lot, just competing, and that's the main thing. going into it, you know, they're a great team, and you know it's going to be a pretty tough game, and we all got to stay focused, and our offense definitely helps with that."
The Tide have Sunday off before returning to the practice fields Monday.
