Alabama faces Wisconsin Saturday Sept. 5 in Texas, and still no word on a starting quarterback.
That’s just fine with head coach Nick Saban.
"I have confidence in our guys that they will play well in the game," Saban said earlier this week. "How we're going play them in the game - I don't know. Look, I don't have a gun to my head saying, 'Ok, if I don't know this by Saturday, I'm going to miss church and jump off the bridge;' I ain't got there yet."
Five Tide quarterbacks entered fall camp vying for the job, and heading into Saturday’s practice, Alec Morris, Jake Coker, and Cooper Bateman received most of the snaps.
The Tide have this Sunday off before returning to the practice fields Monday.
