(NBC) - Thousands of loaves of bread are being recalled.
Bread maker bimbo bakeries has issued a regional recall for certain bread products because they may contain glass fragments.
The bread was sold under the brand names Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Great Value, and L'oven Fresh.
The bread is labeled with the bakery code 1658 and has a "best by date" of Aug. 29, Aug. 31 or Sept. 1.
It was sold in 11 states including Virginia, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky and Mississippi.
The company announced the recall after receiving three consumer reports of small pieces of glass found on the outside of the bread.
Bimbo says the glass came from a broken lightbulb at one of its bakeries.
Customers can take recalled loaves back to the store where purchased for a full refund.
