LOOK AHEAD: Another slightly cooler day on tap for Tennessee Valley

(WAFF) -

Another pleasant, fall-like day is on tap across the Tennessee Valley. Temperatures this morning will start out about 10-15° below average in the mid-to-upper 50s. Despite the cool morning, temperatures will warm quickly with sunny skies with temperatures pushing into the upper-70s by lunchtime with highs into the low-to-mid 80s. North winds will once again be up around 10 mph this afternoon.

With low humidity, tonight should be cool with lows dropping into the upper 50s one more time. Thursday afternoon will be slightly warmer, but highs will stay in the 80s. The humidity will start to increase as well, and lows should stay in the 60s as a result.  Highs will approach 90° Friday afternoon and similar temperatures can be expected over the weekend.

With higher humidity, lows this weekend will be back to around 70. We should stay dry over the weekend, but storms will develop to our east. We’ll see that slight rain chance as we begin the next work week.
