LOOK AHEAD: Fall-like temperatures Tuesday morning

(WAFF) -

Fall-like temperatures this morning

Temperatures will be noticeably cooler Tuesday compared to Monday. We’ll start the day anywhere from the mid-50s into the lower 60s. Skies are clear, and you can expect plenty of sunshine into the afternoon. Temperatures should run 5-10° below average through the day, with highs topping out in the lower 80s.  It will feel rather comfortable for late August due to lower humidity. Winds could be breezy at times, around 10 mph out this afternoon. That wind dies down this evening as the sun begins to set, and temperatures will cool off quickly.

Temperatures should dip into the 60s by 9 or 10 p.m. on our way down to lows in the mid-to-upper 50s. Expect a clear night with sunny skies on Wednesday.  Highs should once again top out in the lower 80s. We’ll start warming back up as we get closer to the weekend. Thursday morning should be our last in the 50s for a little while. It will be muggier this weekend as highs push back into the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s. We’ll see a few more clouds for Saturday and Sunday, and there’s a slight chance for rain as we start the new work week.
