Weak cold front moves across the Valley, quiet weather expected for the week

(WAFF) -

Calm weather expected for your work week

A cold front will pass through the Valley this morning, bringing with it a slight chance for a few rain showers this morning. Temperatures will still be warm today, but the humidity will be dropping. Morning readings are generally in the low-to-mid 70s with highs making it into the mid-80s with a north wind around 10 mph. Skies will be mostly sunny this afternoon, and should remain clear tonight. It’s going to be cooler overnight than it has been recently, with temperatures dropping into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Quiet weather is expected for the remainder of the week, with plenty of sunshine Tuesday with highs into the lower 80s. The humidity stays low until the end of the week leading to several comfortable afternoons. The nights through the first half of the week will feature clear skies and lows that dip into the upper 50s. Afternoon highs will gradually get warmer as the week progresses. We’ll go from lower 80s Wednesday back into the upper 80s for Friday and the weekend. The humidity will be going up for the weekend as well, and that means lows won’t be as cool.
