WATCH WAFF: Students plan Friday protest of high school dress code

(WAFF) -

Students to protest dress code Friday

Students and parents at Grissom High School say the dress code needs to change and Friday students plan to protest with a demonstration. There's an event on Facebook called "Stand Against Dress Code." Over 60 students say they plan to participate in Friday's protest, wearing leggings and pants with holes in them. They say the main reason for the protest is to show school leaders they have voices too and they want the dress code to change. Students say the dress code is sexist and targets girls.
