(WAFF) - A weak cold front will push through the Valley today. Skies will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms through the first half of the day. There could also be pockets of fog through 9 a.m. especially in area valleys. As we head into the afternoon, winds will switch around to more of a northerly direction as the front passes. Rain and storms should diminish, and the clouds may even begin to clear. Highs this afternoon will top out below normal in the lower and middle 80s. Partly cloudy skies can be expected tonight as lows dip into the mid-60s.
Friday is shaping up to be a pleasant close to the work week. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds with lower humidity. Highs should stay in the mid-80s. While most of us will stay dry, an isolated shower during the afternoon is still possible. Skies will be mainly clear Friday night and lows should drop into the low-to-mid-60s for Saturday.
