The first day of school is a day full of emotions for both parents and children. It was especially so for one Los Angeles boy.

A news reporter with KTLA made 4-year-old Andrew Macias cry when she asked him about his first day of school.

As he was headed to City Terrace Elementary School, the reporter asked if he was excited for his first day of school. His reply was "yes," but the next question really got him.

When she asked if he would miss his mom, Macias said, "no." The reporter acted surprised and then Macias's laugh quickly turned to tears.

I guess he really will miss his mom.
